Happy Thanksgiving and More...

We have had a busy past 2 weekends seeing family and friends. The weekend before thanksgiving my brother Eric and family came to visit from Wisconsin so we drove up to SV so Kamri could meet them. Matt and Heather also came up to join in the fun. We then came back to Pinedale for a few days since Bri had school and practice. After practice on Wednesday we headed for a quick trip to Mt. View before Bri's family dispersed for their Thanksgiving vacations. Kamri got to meet many more Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Thanksgiving day we drove back to SV. This time Uncle Cliff, Aunt Ker, Bode, and Ryder were there. Joe and Liz live their so we got to see them on both of our visits. It was so fun to see so much family in those two weeks. We are grateful to have such wonderful families and don't know what we would do without them. Here are some pics from our travels.

Kamri started smiling while we were on vacation. She is still a bit stingy with them, but she sure is cute when you convince her to do it.

Uncle Matt was rocking with Olivia (Eric's little girl) when she held out her arms to hold Kamri, so they rocked together.

What would we do with out our awesome aunts Heather and Liz

Kamri and Olivia posing for with their Great Grandma Linford.

The girl cousins (on the Linford side) bonding. =) About 2 seconds later Olivia was done and tried to push Kamri off. It looks like Kamri may have to get a bit tougher.

The 3 siblings and their 3 cute girls born this year. From left to right Jenny and Macie Jo (4 months), Bri and Kamri (1 month), Lori and Megan (6 months). I'm sure they will be the best of friends.

The older kiddos decided they wanted to join in the fun too.

Megan, Kamri, and Macie

Ryder (Cliff's boy) is 7 weeks older than Kamri. Its so fun to have so many cousins born this year for Kamri to play with.

Kamri got to meet Great Grandma Hyde too!

Grandma Linda sure did love all the grandkid snuggles she got over the holidays

And of course they even spent some time with Uncle Joe

2 Weeks!

I can't believe this little munchkin is already 2 weeks old! At her 2 week appointment she weighed 6 lbs 10 oz... she is growing TOO fast already. This is what she has been up to in the past couple of weeks.

She has Dad wrapped around her tiny little finger already...watch out for Daddy's girl. These two spend a lot of there evenings in this position.
She loves to show us how strong her head is and how she can hold it up all by herself (very independent already)!

Daddy daughter chit chats.

Grandmas have come to visit and Kamri loves Grandma snuggles.

Even Grandpa came to visit and I'm thinking I have my work cut out for me for staying this guys little girl.

Playing dress-up (1 week)

Poor Kamri at 1 week old had to live through her mom re-living her childhood when I used to play with dolls and dress them up. Now I have my own perfect little doll....she just requires a lot more attention and cannot be put on the shelf once I'm done playing. =) She was just so content and alert I couldn't resist.

Kamri Ann Brisko

Kamri Ann Brisko made her entry into this world on October 29, 2009 at 6:53 p.m. weighing a whopping 5 lbs 13 oz and 18.5 inches long. Our lives have changed dramatically to say the least once this little angel entered our lives, but we wouldn't have it any other way. We are very greatful she decided to give us two clueless parents a shot at raising her. She has been very good natured and alert. We still can't quite decide which genes came through the Linford or the Brisko genes, I guess we need to compare baby pictures to see which one of us she looks like or maybe she is just herself Kamri.

Just Waiting...

Just 10 Days until my due date....November 6th. I'm working on my patience and taking it one day at a time, but if you know me then you realize "working" on patience is bit challenging for me. Hopefully soon we will have cuter pictures than this of our little angel to show off. Until then..... we wait!

Fall is Here!

Fall is here which means football now consumes our daily lives. Brian is an assistant coach for the Pinedale Wranglers. He has been gone a lot and doesn't get to come home until 6:30 or so because of practice, but I'm glad he has the opportunity to do it. He loves coaching and even though he gets frustrated, I know he wouldn't trade it for anything. He loves having a positive impact on kids' lives like his coaches had on him. AND as long as he is happy...I'm happy!
Here he is with his JV team during a game. He is the one in the green shirt...school pride ya know.
The famous "coaches" stance.

If you notice the Pinedale Wranglers mascot looks quite similiar to one we all know and love. It makes me laugh because this is definitely the high school for Brian. The bucking horse as the mascot AND they play the "Cowboy Joe" song as their fight song...so needless to say I came in knowing all the words!

We ventured to see the other bucking horse down in Laramie to watch #2 Texas battle against the Wyoming Cowboys thanks to some awesome friends for finding us tickets. It was a good time and even though it ended in a loss which was pretty much inevitable at least it was a good time with a ton of screaming cowboy fans. I laughed at myself standing and screaming in the student section being 7 1/2 months prego.

Even though the pokes could not pull out the impossible I did capture the image of Wyoming beating the #2 Texas by 4 points! It only lasted about 30 seconds before that dang Texas scored again but hey at least we could say it DID happen!
Sunday afternoon we decided to go exploring again and headed to Green River Lakes. It was gorgeous and so fun to get out in the nice fall weather before winter comes and never leaves.

Only 6 weeks to go.

Brian wasn't quite into the modeling thing as I wanted him to be....go figure!

Exploring Our New Home!

Brian and I decided to go explore the scenic area around our new home up in the Wind Rivers next to Pinedale. After you see these I know you will all be calling to pencil in your reservation at Hotel Brisko. A pretty rainbow at Half Moon Lake which is one of the first lakes from Pinedale probably only about 5 miles outside.

Fremont Lake which starts only 3 miles out of Pinedale but stretches for a really long ways. This is up top about 10 miles from the beginning.

Another view of Fremont Lake with I think Willow Lake in the background. So in case you wondering, yes, there is awesome fishing in Pinedale. Just one of the many amenties that Hotel Brisko has to offer their guests. In fact, we met some young hip individuals hiking on a trail that were from Long Beach California for Labor Day Weekend. So it seems to me... Pinedale is the vacation of choice!

The Wind River Mountain Range which is what cute little Pinedale is nestled against. So, now that I have enticed all of you to either come visit or hey why not even move here too! (right?!) YES! Call and reserve your reservation to stay at Hotel Brisko in lovely Pinedale, Wyoming....believe me you will not be disappointed.

And the lovely host at Hotel Brisko who has been packing on a little weight as of late if you haven't noticed. I have been harassed about putting belly pictures up....so reluctantly I am putting one up. Needless to say I put one with me in front of a pretty backdrop so hopefully it would take the attention away from the ginormo belly! =)

Hello All!

So I finally have to time to sit down and make a blog, so here it goes. We are finally getting settled in Pinedale. I'm adjusting to the life of leisure right now which has actually been a harder than anticipated adjustment. I'm so used to being somewhere all the time that its actually really hard just to sit. Brian is in full swing of things here in Pinedale. The students finally come to school tomorrow and Brian is pretty pumped about it so he won't have to go to teacher inservice meetings anymore. Football has been going for a couple of weeks now which keeps him out of trouble and very busy. They have their first game this weekend in Riverside (which apparently is in the Big Horn Basin) I had never heard of it before. Goes to show there are still a ton of small Wyoming towns that I don't know. I will probably never be able to learn them all. We are happy to be living here and are adjusting to life in a small town without my Wal-Mart close by.
